How2 Store Corriander Leaves

Your corriander leaves will remain fresh for about one week or so...
  1. Open the bundle of coriander leaves, cut off the roots, spread it nicely on a news paper for sometime. Let the paper absorbs the excess water and moisture.
  2. Discard all the limp, wet, and rotten leaves.
  3. Wrap the leaves in kitchen paper towel (thin one) and then store them in a box or in poly bags with holes specially available for storing in the fridge. You also get steel boxes which are exclusively used for storing gteen leaves and green chillies in refrigerator.
You can also try..
  • Keep in a glass of water like you would keep a bunch of flowers.
  • Wash, clean and roughly chop leaves. Add a little water. Fill into an ice cube tray and freeze. Then store the cubes in a plastic bag or container in the chiller.
  • Make a coriander paste and store in a container in the fridge. You can add to your green masala dish while cooking.
  • You can buy live herbs - corriander in a pot - and place on your window sill. Use as much or little as you want, while the rest stays fresh as ever as you keep watering the pot and giving it some sunlight.
